About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 30 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. I stumbled onto PixelScrapper about 2014, which of course is now DigitalScrapbook, and right away began develping my design skills where I was able to do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I also teach water aerobics. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. I peruse the net to learn new technique or enhance existing ones every month.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
My daughter's favorite things to do with her friends when she was in elementary school was bake (and eat) cookies! This could easily be titled cookie monster, too! This is a layout for the October 2 "old photo" challenge. I used a template from AK Designs, which is a great template, but it seems that it always takes me twice as long to use a template than to just start from scratch. Plus you can always tell when I use a template, because it has a lot more layers than I usually use! I used Marisa Lerin's Brighten Up kit for this layout, along with a few miscellaneous elements from here at DigitalScrapbook.com.

I love the brightness of this layout and your paint splatters and the title. Okay, I love the entire thing;) Thanks for playing along with the challenge.
Lovely! Great colors, great atmosphere!
